We will go for another new wave skier against an established one, altough there are other reasons here to back Frasse Sombet.
First of all, she is very constant, all of her results were between 10th and 22nd place so we can count that she will deliver a solid result which will win here some more World Cup points. She is specialised on Giant Slalom and is concentrated on this discipline.
On the other side, Holdener, after she established herself as one of the strongest slalom skiers, started to give more attention to Giant Slalom, too. But in this discipline she is by far not as strong as in Slalom. Her results this season are more or less about the same as of the French skier, but today when I watched her in slalom, she looked vvery tired and also because of the poor result, she could be demotivated. Holdener lost the battle for the second place, but she won the bronze and could be satisfied with that.
I go with the skier that will surely be more motivated, this is her first finals, in her best discipline. For Holdener this race is more or less meaningless. Coralie between 10th and 13th and Holdener around 15th place are my calls!
