This bet isn't form based as both teams showed some bad form lately and both lost their most recent games. It’s based on team news as Galway have few important missings, while Bray have few players back. Galway are coming on the back of three losses, two in the League against Dundalk and Pats and 2-0 League Cup defeat to First Division League leaders Limerick. They’ve scored just one goal in those three games and that single goal came deep in injury time against Dundalk. Those bad results came after their captain Ryan Connolly become injured and he was definitely their best player this season and trough leader on the pitch. He is still unavailable, but tonight Galway will be without equally important midfielder, John Sullivan who is suspended. Cunningham, Curran and Folan are also injured, but they were out for some time and not such a big loss.
Bray on the other hand will have Dean Kelly, Ryan Brennan and Alan Byrne all returning from injury. They’re all important and experienced players and Bray will surly look much better tonight. Bray desperately needs some points to move off the foot of the table. With Galway missing their top players, Bray should have a good chance to take at least a point tonight.
