With AHL All Star 2013 end and all players rested for a couple of days, they are ready for action today. OKC Barons will meet their division rivals Charlotte Checkers in fifth h2h game this season and so far both teams share two wins and all four games bring so many goals. Barons lately make some results with enormous goals loosing from Milwaukee Admirals with 8-2 and Griffins 5-4 but won the last game in Rockford with 4-3 result. Yan Dannis today back from Edmonton and he will take his old job on the Barons net. Dannis is their main goalie but facing against Checkers his coming doesn’t change much. 15 goals in the four h2h meetings including 7-0 lost this month
Carolina Hurricanes signed Andreas Nödl from Checkers and this leaves them with only 12 forwards for this trip. Its one sure that after players like Charlotte’s Zac Dalpe, Drayson Bowman, Bobby Sanguinetti, Dan Ellis and others leave the team is not the same but they still remain between the good ones as there are still quality players in the team.
All lost players yes, Barons are without Jordan Eberle, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Taylor Hall, Justin Schultz, but new players like Jonathan Cheechoo fill the place rapidly.
