S.Korea K League
Jeonbuk are the strongest S.Korean team, current back-to-back champions. Last year they've won the league with 26-8-4 record and have had 75:31 goal difference(20/38 over 2.5 games). Before this season successful coach Choi Kang-hee resigned and was replaced by Portuguese Jose Morais which resulted in some problems in early stages of the season. So far they are 2-2-1 with 10:5 goal difference in the league. Still they are by far strongest S.Korean team with the best players, deep squad built to compete both in league and Asian Champions League(which they've won back in 2016).
Incheon last season was the worst team of regular season but won 4 of 5 games in relegation group to finish on 9th place. They've been the team with highest goals per game average(3.3) as they scored a lot(55 goals in 38 games) but also conceded even more(69 goals in 38 games!). In 38 games they've had 26 over 2.5 games. Their manager is Norwegian coach Jorn Andersen, known for his attacking philosophy. He took over the team during last season World Cup break and steered them clear of relegation. Incheon have played plenty of high-scoring and attractive games under his reign. 19 of 28 league games under Jorn Andersen went over 2.5 goals. Incheon star player is Montenegrin striker Stefan Mugosa, who last year was one of the league top goalscorers, bagging in 19 goals in 35 games. Before this season they've signed Swedish-Iraqi winger Jiloan Hamad, Heo Yong-joon who have had 9 goals last season for Jeonnam Dragons, and also Vietnamese talent Nguyen Cong Phuong, nicknamed "Vietnamese Messi", who was brilliant lately for Vietnam senior and youth national teams. In first game of the season Incheon had a 1:1 home draw against Jeju and followed that with 2:1 home win over strong Gyeongnam team. But they've lost next three league games, conceding 8 goals in the process and their goal difference is now 4:10 in 5 games(2.8 average, 3/5 over 2.5).
Last season there were plenty of goals in this fixture: 3:2, 3:3, 2:3. Jeonbuk at home has to win games like this and will use Incheon's defensive problems to full advantage. Incheon's manager Jorn Andersen prefers attacking football and this should be a good game to watch. I expect Jeonbuk to win this game and score a few goals but Incheon should find the net as well.
