Parma are not among the most spectacular teams in Serie A but they are collecting points and winning most important matches. So, they managed to beat Udinese away from home and Sassuolo and even Torino at home. Three wins mean they are safely positioned in the middle of the table and a win against Genoa would really further improve their position. 

Genoa on the other side are in great problems. They are still with only one win this season and among the last three in the table, which means they are in danger of relegation. They had tough schedule, but only 1 point won in last 5 games played is really not enough. Their manager Andreazzolli is under pressure and I am not sure if he will survive if Genoa loses this match, too.

Parma will still miss Bruno Alves, otherwise they have the whole team available. It is good that they have lost away match at SPAL, becuase I see them very focused today, they should win against troubled Genoa. 1-0!
