Champions League, Group stages, while Western part of the competition was already played, now the Eastern part of the teams travelled to Doha where all the remained group stages matches are going to be played. Teams came in different stage of preparation. While Chinese ended their league a few weeks ago, Australians ended their in August, so they were not having real competitive football for months.
Shanghai of course are full of international stars, although they will miss El Sharaawy, but still there will be other players that managed to secure the team 7th place in Chinese league (less than expected!).
Perth on the other side ended the season as 6th team in regular season and managed to qualfiy for the semifinals of the league where they were beaten by later champions, Sydney (0-2).
Shanghai have depth, but Perth also have quality, both to score, my call is 3-2!
