This is the first ever edition of Trofeo de Campeones, which is a new Super Cup played between Superleague and Superlegue Cup champions. Racing of course are one of the best teams from Superleague at the moment, while Tigre play Primera Nacional football, so one level lower.
Racing are also a scoring team, they are playing nice football and I see them as favourites to win this. They were unbeaten in 12 games before losing to Lanus last week, average of goals at 2,3 per game and two overs in last five games played.
Tigre on the other side are attacking minded team and that will be important today as they could get punished. Currently 4th in their group of Primera Nacional they had 4 overs in last 5 games played and that is a good trend.
My call is 3-1!
