Big derby in Sao Paulo and I think it will be very very tight. Two teams that are pretty solid, but far from their best times. Still, as I already pointed out, slowly but surely Corinthians are coming back to the top. Currently 4th they are now unbeaten in last 6 games, only three losses whole season long, they are a very strong team defensively.
Sao Paulo on the other side are one place behind Corinthians, they are 3 points behind their rivals. Their current form is also very strong and they are a team that should be taken seriously.
Head to head favours Corinthians, they are unbeaten against Sao Paulo in last 5 games.
Both teams have quite some missings, I see this as a better sign for guests. It is internationals time, so players had to leave. Still, they both have strong players available, so the match should be played in the best of spirits.
My call is 1-2 away win!
