Second leg of quarterfinals, Mexican team with great advantage winning 2-0 in New Jersey last week. Santos surprised Red Bulls by playing very open and attacking football from the start, both teams created numerous chances, but NY wasted a lot of them and it put them on the brink of elimination. Now, with task to score at least two goals today to keep them alive, Red Bulls' tactics will be no different, they will attack again in Mexico, after all they are a team which never really bunkers down even against top MLS teams away. Today they will be boosted by return of one of top MLS right backs Michael Murillo who was suspended for the first leg, and new supertalented attacking midfielder Mathias Jorgensen has travelled with the team and may play some minutes as well. Red Bulls chances of progressing are quite small, but I am sure they will give their everything here as they had CCL success as a priority early in the season. Santos Laguna will have their space in attack as well, same as in the first leg, which should make it an entertaining game again, hopefully with plenty of goals.
